Why vitamins are so important to our health? They help our organism function as it should and make us feel and be in our greatest health. It is best to take your vitamins by drinking water and eating healthy food but that’s not always the case. For that reason, I prefer to take supplements and that way I’m sure that I have all the vitamins in my blood.
Each month I change my supplements and I choose them on behalf of how I’m feeling. For example, I may feel weak and less energized and that month I would take more Magnesium and Vitamin B. If the weather gets cold, I would get more Vitamin C so I don’t get sick.
So here are the vitamins and supplements that I take at the moment:
I chose to take burdock root supplement because of its benefits for the skin. It’s known to help with good and clear skin. This is a probiotic that I chose because I’m feeling sooo bloated after eating certain foods. It helps with the balance between the bacteria in your digestive system. Probiotics also help with treating and preventing diarrhea, have antioxidant properties and metabolize xenobiotics and heavy metals. It is proven that probiotics also improve mental health.
The Centrum Women vitamins increase the energy and help with the metabolism and the immune system. What is more, the included vitamins A, C and E, help maintain healthy hair, skin and nails. Vitamin C and its benefits are well-known by every single person on the planet. Its most important function is in keeping our immune system work at its best. It reduces the chances of getting different infections, so it’s good to take Vitamin C on a daily basis as a prevention. It also prevents many diseases such as Alzheimer’s, cancer and stroke.
This is again a women’s supplement which helps with the digestive and vaginal health. It includes Lactobacilli which are very important to both our digestive and vaginal microflora. These microorganisms also prevent getting urogenital infections.
To conclude, vitamins are very important to our health as they are part of many enzymes and processes in our organism that keep us in our best physical and mental shape. It’s good to take supplements but don’t forget that drinking water and eating good food is the number one thing to do to stay healthy. The vitamins in our food are resorbed better than any supplement out there. The supplementation is just an addition to your good diet.
